I booked this hotel nice beautiful staff friendly clean I loved people in the entrance specially a gentlel man his age look like he is 50 or more so nice so cute Recep people friendly as well the only issue that I had is with the manager that he charged me £100 for a bottle of wine that I opened it wrong and affect the ruff of the room, the gentil man forgot that I paid the price of the room with insurance anything about the maintenance it is the maintenance duty what he charged me unfortunately its a roberie.
Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel.
Good things: Very near to Medina and tram service, courteous staff, good breakfast. Not so good things: air quality in rooms, you can hear late night music from second floor due to probably a bar or a club nearby. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We had a group of twelve checking into this hotel with 6 bedrooms on 28/12/2019. The hotel seems to be recently renovated & pleasantly presented. The staffs were helpful & friendly. It also is at a convenient location to the Old Clock Tower & tram line. However, the buffet dinner we had only offer 4 chafing dishes & not much variety in others & no free water or juice, which is not really considered as a proper “buffet”.
The next thing is no kettle is available & nor is the hair conditioning gel. The worst part is the stuffy air in the corridor & rooms. Not sure if they tried to cut costs down by turning off the air flow in the lift lobby. The A/C in the rooms we stayed simply didn’t work properly, as we turned to 5 degrees in chill mode & still no cold air flow at all. Though the technicians came to have a check & fiddled with few things, in the end, it felt like at least 25 degrees plus throughout the whole night & the hotel couldn’t offer any explanation or apologies. One more thing of the facility is, as it’s a renovated from an existing building, the only two lifts are separated by this staircase that make them 8 m apart & one can not see another lift coming from the other end. Large group of people need to be aware of.
