Reviews from visitors:
We stayed in the Viceroyality Room which was large and very comfortable. Nice tile floor and lovely bathroom. We had asked for a firm bed. It was not particularly firm, but was comfortable. The location in the old city was excellent; walking distance to everything and picturesque. There were wooden floor-length shutters for the windows, which we shut at night, making the room silent and cutting out morning light. The breakfast was good; fresh juice, lovely fresh fruit, and eggs to order. The staff was lovely; very helpful and attentive. They went out of their way to offer us a place to shower and relax if we wanted to after our return from the San Bernardo Islands and before our flight back to NY! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
The staff is very helpful and kind. The location was perfect. Easy to get to everything. Very private as well. I believe there is only 9 rooms so it makes it a very intimate.
A beautiful building that was once a rich merchant's house. The staff are attentive and help to make your stay very comfortable. I have stayed there twice and would love to stay again.
I loved this hotel! The staff is attentive and helpful and the ambiance is perfect for a stay in a historic city. Check out the pictures of each room before booking. The pictures do each room justice! They're beautifully decorated and because each room has an interior wall to the city, it's quiet at night! The morning breakfast that comes with the stay is delicious and leaves you feeling ready to explore! I highly recommend this hotel!
Highly recommend! Amazing service, the concierge even made multiple calls to our next hotel to help arrange transportation (a boat out to Baru) & gave advice on airport transfers. There was bilingual staff in every area. The included multiple-course breakfast is in a picturesque outdoor room, with excellent service & excellent food. We loved having a different tropical fruit juice every morning. The rooftop jacuzzi & 2nd floor small dip pool were also beautiful. It's a tiny hotel, so they were never crowded. Our only issue was some noise from loud restaurants/bars on the street behind the hotel (we had the Consul room), which was only at certain hours.
