Amazing hospitality, even more amazing view!
After finding our Booking.com booked hotel not actually open, we needed ro find alternative accommodation quickly. Three Boutique was just around the corner and half the price. Before making the booking official on a booking site, we drove there and enquired in person. They were able to accommodate us at short notice, charged us the discounted booking site fee and we spent two wonderful nights at their establishment. Much more personal than the big hotel chains. Alphina made us the most delicious breakfasts and when we urgently needed to check out later, it wasn't a problem. Granted, the hotel was empty. Thanks for being so hospitable, Pieter . If you shy away from big, busy hotels this one is perfect. It has a serene, private feel to it even though it's in Cape Town city centre. The rooms are modest but not small; with spacious, modern bathrooms. It is very well kept, spotlessly clean with friendly staff. Minus one star for a poorly stocked and heavily over-priced bar.
