We have been to many places in Cape Town and around the world : 52 de Wet is our absolute favourite place. Small 5*****plus boutique hotel. Just unique location, first class staff. Rooms (especially the penthouse) are spacious and very comfy.
Marnie and Russell (and David ) + the 52 de wet team made our stay memorable.
The spa is part of a boutique hotel, which has spectacular views of the whole Atlantic seaboard, but with difficult parking arrangements.
The booking of the appointment was done via texting only which makes it a bit cumbersome with texts backwards and forwards.
I was asked to pay online in advance which I declined because I find it not practical.
The premises were very nice and clean. The therapists were good, however my one hour massage ( 4 hands ) lasted 45 mins.
Finally, on payment I was hinted for a tip.
Overall good.
The people were super nice and went above and beyond to make my day special

Stunning boutique hotel that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. Russ, Marnie, Giorgia and the rest of the staff are absolutely incredible and made our stay extra special. The room we had was large and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast and daily happy hour drink were also a really nice touch and the dinner was delicious.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a more intimate luxurious feel - we will definitely stay here again when we’re back in Cape Town since it’s been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Thanks so much 52 De Wet!
