I was looking for a cooking class recommendations in Bali, so I finally went for one and it was amazing! Can’t recommend them more! It was in Tugu hotel in batu bolong in Canggu. And it was a surprise for Valentine’s Day for my boyfriend haha. He was pleasantly surprised and he loved it so much!
Before the cooking class I went to the hotel to discuss the menu with the manager, she was very helpful and recommended the most interesting and fun dishes to cook. You can choose three main courses, one sambal and one dessert. The cooking class itself was amazing, we had the best time! The chefs were so nice, kind, welcoming and accommodating, and they were telling us everything and answering all our questions! After cooking they served us beautiful lunch and surprised us with a cake with our names on it and a card. Honestly it was the best experience and so unique, I’m very thankful to the hotel team
So if a cooking class is smth you wanna do in Bali I definitely recommend to try it in Tugu hotel
Great hotel with amazing history and culture. Make sure you stay a night or two. Well located and close to the beach.
Stunning hotel featuring remarkable spaces filled with gorgeous antique art and sculpture. I was sad to leave our private koi and swimming pools. Service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, no ask was too much. Breakfast, tea time, and dinner upstairs at Ji were all fantastic. My only negative would be the noise at night from the bass of the clubs, they provide you with ear plugs and around 2am it was quiet, but it's hard to ignore. That aside, we loved it, and would definitely stay again next time!
