Much much sol!
A 5 star experience in a 4 star place! The kids loved this hotel, and the suite was a big size for a family of 4.
Main positives:
- room and the view (top floors have an unobstructed view), as my son said “it’s the little things that make a difference” and it was modern and with all you need
- spa, the sea salt bath is fab and treatments are also great!!
- the food...i am not a buffet person, even if my kids love it. However this was one of the better buffet experiences...there was fresh orange juice and proper coffee!
- the bar on the 29th floor...perfect for an after dinner drink!
- the kids LOVED the pool...the bouncy thing and the hot pool
Things to work on...but most
- while most of the people were lovely, the check in took a long time and the lady wasn’t the hostess with the mostess
- covid meant booking for everything was needed and the lifts took a gooood while, and this was the major complaint from the kids :)
Overall though, we had a really great time. We didn’t like Calp...so much construction around...but the hotel itself is really a great place for a family. Highly recommend.
We stayed here for 2 weeks before our permanent move to Calpe. The staff were excellent and attentive, although the initial check in was a little slow. The suites are of a very high standard.
Best hotel with sautopia on the planet...the pethouse...absolutly amazing with amazing views of Calp...love the owners of both hotels they are up market and very bespoke.. and at a good price...we love the Solymar & soutopia..#clap,costablanka❤❤❤❤❤❤
Visited the hotel with my husband and took photos from the balcony which are a joy to behold.
However as my husband enjoys a pint we returned to the lobby bar; the bar server was exceedingly helpful as I had a cocktail and my husband enjoyed his pint.
The setting is very tranquil.
Would recommend.
