Very nice hotel with temporary modern spacious rooms, and a private roof terrace. Good service and nice staff. The restaurant we ate at served great food and breakfast was also great. I would have given them 5 stars if they allowed our tiny dog inside. Now we had to eat dinner and breakfast outdoors in beginning of February.
Just back from a great week hill walking in the Costa Blanca staying half board at The Diamanté Beach. The hotel was wonderful. Great room. The buffet meals are amazing with a huge range of foods including lots of fruit and salads. The other guests tend to be cyclists or walkers or climbers. In short this is the perfect hotel if you are going for an active holiday.
This hotel is very comfortable. Located on the seashore. The hotel has its own huge terrace! The view opens onto a long bend of the rocky coast with a smooth beach. The rooms are spacious and some have a terrace. These are essentially apartments with a kitchen. The waiters are very attentive and they serve quickly. The food is of high quality. This hotel is worth the money. Everything here is the most necessary. You can come here until November. I recommend this hotel.
The perfect spot! Leaps beyond anyone else we stayed with in cleanliness, function, style, and value. The ladies that run this small hotel take great pride in their work and it shows. 100% recommend to any adult travelers.

We have stayed here 6 times and will definitely return. The owners are lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. There’s a walk in shower with a place for shampoo, gel etc, unlike a lot of places where you have to put things on the floor. There’s a mini fridge in the room ideal for drinks. You also get the use of the kitchen and are given a shelf in the large fridge and freezer. There’s also a microwave and toaster to use if needed.
This pension is great value for money too. We would recommend staying here.
The beach and bars, restaurants and shops just a few minutes walk.
It is a cozy establishment. With a beautiful view of the rock and the beautiful coast. And the treatment of the people who take the hotel service. Charming and with quality service breakfast and meals. Congratulations to the new team that leads the management and service. That they are young and enterprising people.
Pros... Staff friendly and very hard working doing they're best to provide services to not always very appreciative guests. We had a lovely stay whilst being there . Lovely views from the hotel , quick access to the beach , pools. Food was fantastic out little 5yr old enjoyed the buffet style food which was Varied,tasty and well presented. I informed the staff we had to get a transfer early in the morning and they made us a lovely packed lunch. I would reccomend to stay here and I would probably come back here again. Good hotel with a lovely pool/lounge area on the roof. Comfy beds and large balconies. The location is amazing, being next to the beach. The breakfast is highly recommended.
The hotel to stay in in Calpe!
The stay has been quite pleasant. The hotel is ok, the room clean but the decoration is a bit old. The room has a fairly large terrace with beautiful views. The location of the hotel is very good, on the beachfront and in the surroundings many places to eat or dine. We only had bed and breakfast but we really didn't enjoy breakfast because there was a long queue to get in.
Stayed here in 2007. Had a kitchen to cook, walking distance to amenities. Unparalleled views. Was a highlight of my life. The family that owns this was wonderful and accommodating. I highly recommend this gem.
Booked this without knowing that the Gran Hotel SolyMar which the apartments are attached to, closed on the day before I arrived. Booking.com website didn't display this information and neither did the SolyMar website when I searched. After I booked direct with the Grupo SolyMar and they informed me of the closure and Covid changes in advance of the cancellation deadline. So 4 stars rather than 5. However I was given a larger apartment which was huge and very well equipped. It also had a fantastic balcony, although not facing the beach you see both mountains and sea. Located right in the centre of Calpe with the beach, shops, bars and restaurants right outside.
