Reviews from visitors:
A beautiful property on Baga Beach with a shack of its own.
Clean and big rooms, cottages surrounded by trees makes a pleasant surrounding. Proximity to market and restaurants yet secluded and hence makes a perfect option to stay for couples.
Totally enjoyed it wishes could have stayed longer! Sigh!!
Lovely place. They have 3 selections of rooms, all of them are beautiful trust me. Only point of concern could be that the restaurant serves you late but Bongo shack (their restaurant) is another experience in itself!!
The place is absolutely beautiful so nice that after I saw the room and location we booked another night on the spot. There food at the hotel beach shack is so nice best you will find out of all the beach shacks . Breakfast is really good as you get to choose and items from there menu rather that the usual horrible buffet breakfast other places serve up. We will defo come again next year
A truly amazing and tranquil property, located in the heart of Baga. Cute cottages and good hospitality. The shack on the beach is almost exclusive to hotel guests and opens up to a fairly empty part of the beach. Would love to stay back again.
Going by all the good reviews we decided to book Oceanside wooden cottage at this place for 3 nights and 4 days. At first glance the place seemed amazing..but as our stay progressed we started facing different issues.
Of 4 days we could get hot water for bath only on 1 day. That too after water had been left running for around 10-15 mins.
The glasses used for the cottage are such that during the day you can't see inside the cottage. However as it gets dark and lights inside are switched on, you can see almost everything inside. The thin curtains don't help in any way.
The cottage rooms are located at a height whereas the washrooms are located at ground level. When you enter the washroom from your room there's only a net separating you from the outside. Again at night people outside can easily see you as you enter and leave the washroom.
The food served at the Bongo beach shack is decent but service is not quite good. We had prepaid for our breakfast (It wasn't complimentary) but were made to choose from select options only.
Our total bill went up to around 19k but the manner in which the waiter told us the fresh juice will have to be paid for separately and won't be added to the prepaid breakfast made us feel as if we were enjoying a free stay. Was quite embarrassing. (Tip for fellow travelers: Don't prepay for your breakfast. It's a waste of money!)
Paid laundry service was mentioned in facilities but was not available.
