Location is superb. There is no parking and rooms are bit congested. Best for those who wish to have seashore walk in the night and in the early morning. Excellent view from the hotel.
The best thing I can say is the Manger Shekhar.. He is a wonderful person who takes care of the guests and is very understanding.. He was the reason for the stay being so comfortable.. the place it is situated is on the beach side.. I would want to visit this place again only because of Shekhar's hospitality..
The cottage is clean but the rooms are extremely small. The way to this place is through very narrow and congested lanes. You are bound to feel claustrophobic. No refrigerator so you cannot store and have beer. The staff allowed to keep only two pints and asked us to collect it before 10 pm. There are slum like structures as soon as you exit the cottage and it spoils the entire experience. You can see rupa underwear hanging everywhere as soon as you step out. Is a two minute walk to the beach and that is the only plus point. There the better properties in the same area. For 2200 a day its certainly not worth
If you are going to Calangute, this is the best place to be at. The property host- Shekhar is a very humble and helpful person. He personally called me when I was on my way to Goa to check if I have any difficulties reaching the property. He would regularly check on us to make sure we were not facing any issues.
I would rate this place 5 star for the hospitality Shekhar provides and 5 more stars for the cleanliness, facilities and the fact that it’s right on the beach ! Don’t even think before choosing Ocean view as your stay.
Great hotel with superb service and friendly staff. Nice view of Arabian sea at Calangute beach. Budget stay. Overall excellent
