Best patisserie in Cairo. You should try the palme, éclair, sable, and croissants with areesh cheese and thyme.
Hotel must be renovated, I don't understand why hotel permit authorities doesn't stand for renovation rules its a must
This hotel is very well located and has a very nice restaurant with nice views of the city. The rooms are average, the food is average and it is over all a bit old. Colors a dim and furniture is old. The service is very good and the employees are very kind.
The staff were nice, rooms clean, new, and with everything You needed in a great neighborhood by cute places to eat. My only real complaint is that there wasn’t a deadbolt on the door which I really prefer to have. They even connected us with a great driver and tour guide Khaled for the day. Excellent English, and gave us a full 8 hours to go or do whatever we wanted for a SUPER reasons price. We started with a few interesting stops such as the papyrus store, then went to the pyramids before the PERFECT local lunch at a super popular roadside restaurant with fresh falafel and other amazing things. We were originally planning to go to the museum but then he offered to take us to this Coptic cave church if we wanted instead that was more off the beaten track and it was AMAZING!!! And to drive and see some of the neighborhoods and sweet shop and even mailed my postcard for me the next day. Highly recommend our guide!
The room I got was kind of unfinished. There's water leaking in the bathroom, so the floor is always wet. The thermostat didn't work so the room was way too cold. Staffs here are not very helpful. The most important thing is that there's contruction going on next to my room so it was so loud. I had to call the reception like 10 times. And the construction started since 6am!! They won't let me change the room. First they told me I can change to another room, later they keep telling that they only have a standard room left, but I booked for a deluxe room. They just told me that it won't happen, again. And it was better but I felt like it shouldn't happen at the first place. They shouldn't use the room if it's not ready :(
