Missing the human touch at every step you take, and that's a pity ... And a big one at that.
You step in and, from the gorgeous (literally gorgeous location on the Nile Corniche at one of its widest and most beautiful spots), you are projected into a medieval impersonal dungeon: gloomy dark cobblestone missing a touch of color that would have imparted a spirit of joviality, dark porch that misses a battery of colorful lights, smirking security akin to guards, lame impersonal interior design, characterless elevator, maze of walkways and passages, 5-star but not 7-star F&B
Gorgeous hotel. The staff are all incredibly friendly and polite and really go out of their way to make your stay there perfect. Highly personalized service and I think you get even better service here than the St Regis hotels in the US. Breakfast is delicious and the views from the dining room are lovely. Beds and linens are extremely comfortable. There was clearly an impeccable attention to detail to every design aspect of the hotel. Loved everything!
Nicest hotel in Cairo. Brand new as of July 2020 and absolutely stunning. It blows the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton out of the water (I know because I stayed at both)! Service is impeccable (thank you Admed, the duty manager for making our stay wonderful) and the butler service is amazing with coffee, tea and fruit delivered whenever you want. The rooms are beautiful and beds are so comfortable. Newest and nicest hotel in Cairo by far.
Trust me and stay here. You won't regret it
This hotel was one of the most unique and modern hotels I have ever stayed in. Exceptionally elegant and tastefully done. They also have two wonderful restaurants inside. Sherif at the bar is awesome!
Regrettably deceptive for those seeking extravagance, flashy interiors and pomp: simplicity is the rule around every nook and cranny and, although serenity is felt (again everywhere), one would expect (and rightly so) some sort of pomp (and) circumstance.
The lack thereof is gripping and, despite the attempts at giving touches of majestic grandeur, one feels more like in the antechambers of medieval times.
The disappointment reaches even the elevators, blanking your mind with blandness, cold illumination and inexpressive buttons which are so bizarre that you wonder whether you have even pressed the right one.
Definitely spotless cleanliness and a wonderful view of the Nile corniche and river
