Hotel is located in an area of downtown Cairo that does not have a lot of food options. It's located in a very old and rundown building. The hotel has interesting decor, but it's not well kept up. The bathrooms are not clean. Internet did not work. For $20 to $30 more one can stay at a clean five star hotel with many more amenities, so this hotel is not good value. Does not take credit card, which is a problem because most ATMs nearby can only dispense 2000 Egyptian pounds per day, which is only a little more than the nightly rate.
