Our family had a fantastic stay for three nights at Le Riad Hotel. Mr. Ahmed took excellent care of us and was wonderful to chat with. The rooms are all individualized, each with its own character and personality. The location is lively in the heart of Khan el Khalili and in the oldest street in Cairo. We will definitely stay there again when back in Egypt!
Missing the human touch at every step you take, and that's a pity ... And a big one at that.
You step in and, from the gorgeous (literally gorgeous location on the Nile Corniche at one of its widest and most beautiful spots), you are projected into a medieval impersonal dungeon: gloomy dark cobblestone missing a touch of color that would have imparted a spirit of joviality, dark porch that misses a battery of colorful lights, smirking security akin to guards, lame impersonal interior design, characterless elevator, maze of walkways and passages, 5-star but not 7-star F&B
This is our second stay at the Fairmont. It's truly a 5 star experience from the time you arrive to outside, you are greeted with a warm welcome, the lobby served delicious guava juice refreshment as we waited to check in. They allowed us an early check in without complications. The concierge was very receptive and helpful. Our room was a 2 notches above the rest. Nice bathroom, very comfortable sheets and pillows, and can't forget the lovely views of the city and NILE. 5 star spa experience and restaurant. This hotel has maximum security for your safety, a bank, mall, casino, live entertainment, club, and ro8o top pool. You will find all you needs met at the Fairmont!
Perfect place you will feel like home, moderate price, very clean and quite, help you sleep like baby, perfect location, easy to remember, high speed internet very good service

Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced globally. Hotel has breathtaking views of Cairo. Located right on the Nile. The restaurants were amazing. Tried one each night we were there and our palates were mesmerized. We got Moroccan tea and fresh bread every night. There is a currency exchange ATM in the lobby for your convenience. There was no need to leave the hotel. The clubs were nice and centrally located on the premises. The cafe in the lobby had some of the most delicious desserts I have ever had. The room was comfy and spacious and room service was efficient. The sauna and pool was average but once again the customer service took it over the top. Security is tight. Will definitely recommend this hotel chain.

Very good hotel for downtown Cairo at this price point (especially compared to other guest houses we stayed at). Don't expect the Ritz Carlton, but it was clean and staff were friendly, bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was great. Stayed when it was new in 2018.
Located in the heart of Cairo downtown, Newly renovated, freshly painted, very quiet and clean facility. One night they were fully booked, Marco the owner walked me to one of their partner hotels and personally made sure everything went well. Another night they were short of the smaller rooms, they gave me free upgrade to a much better and bigger room with no extra charge!! I highly recommend them and will definitely come again.
This is the perfect stay for Cairo and the best Hostel I have ever been to. Quiet street in the heart of Downtown, very clean and stylish interior. The WIFI is even good enough for remote work. Breakfast is good and the staff is very nice, helpful and speaks good English which isn't a given here. They made my stay unforgettable!
This is one of the best places I've stayed in,period! Great view on the Nile with very clean rooms and the service is very friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend it for anyone who's staying in Cairo and want something not basic.
Hint: you could see the pyramids in some cases depending on the weather.
The only remark is that breakfast is Ok! (Presentation & quality)
I stayed here for two weeks this year. I had an amazing time around Cairo, but it was a pleasure to come back to such a immaculate hotel. I love the breakfast! Even the staff that does not speak perfect English knew me by my first name. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Ritz Carlton in Cairo if they have the means.
