Amazing location, lovely hotel and very friendly staff
Spacious well priced rooms. Air conditioning worked great. Beds weren't excessively firm like they can be in Spain. Staff was massively helpful and gave great advice on how to enjoy the city easily. The hotel is centrally located and only a 6 Euro cab ride from the train station. Rooms seemed well soundproofed, we didn't have any trouble with street noise. Would stay there again and would refer friends to do so as well.
Cleanliness should be improved. The douvet did not have a sheet from the bottom side that covers you, which is completely disgusting, as washing the douvet after every customer is unlikely. One would expect the sheets to be changed after every guest. That is if there are sheets, but there were none to wrap the douvet. Also, some dust on the floor.
Staying for two weeks. Tiny, really tiny room. The window closes but doesn't really seal so all the noises in the street are the same as having the window open (it's not a quiet street).
The walls are also crazy thin - could hear every splash of next doors bath, so that was nice!
Room service decided to remove a duvet from the bed and not return it, when we asked for it back, we were told to use a blanket from the cupboard if we were cold. Would have been better if the blanket fit the bed.
On the plus side, there is a stocked mini bar, it is clean and room service ensured everything was stocked in the room.
Overall I'd think this place be better described as a hostel rather than hotel.
We stayed here for two nights in February 2015. The room was large, nicely furnished,with excellent bath facilities. The staff is very helpful. Excellent location in the old city and only a 10-minute walk to the train station.
