Fancy atmosphere. Good café and service. A really unique and special place for a conference, meeting, training or company event.
I visited the reopened bar. Great place, good atmosphere and friendly staff.
Two problems
1. ventilation, or the lack of it.
2. the acoustics. Two big rooms with hard walls and ceiling make the sound travel all over the place. Having a conversation by a table is hopeless when it's more than 10 guests in one of the rooms.
Just wow!
The room was big, beautiful and comfortable. The staff were excellent. The courtyard was adorable and the common space was lovely. I really loved the honesty bar! The rooms were silent too despite being in the middle of the city (literally next door to the Hungarian museum). I slept for 13 hours as I live somewhere very noisy and it was a relief to not be able to hear anything. Everything was decorated and you could burly the artwork if you wanted. I'd definitely go again.
The one thing to look out for is the lack of lifts or elevators if you have luggage or have trouble with stairs. As it's a beautiful old building - that's too be expected.
Would definitely be back next time im here.
Great place to mingle. Very arty, super comfy rooms and wonderful staff. Bar has a great selection. A place to meet interesting internationals and locals.
Nicest place I have ever stayed. The vibe of the place is lovely and the staff are wonderful.
