Location wise, the hotel is very central to most tourists spots so it gets a star for that.
The front of the hotel is just a small door & you must buzz in, on entering the downstairs hallway is grubby with the occasional cockroache & insect; due to the overflowing smelly bins.
The reception is nice and the room seems nice at first, but on closer inspection you see it’s filthy. Taps covered in grime, dust everywhere, with a few crumbs & hairs on the floor.
If you can forgive the hygiene & maintenance you will probably be out in the town most of the time anyway.
Would definitely stay here again!! Brilliant location, within walking distance to everything. Affordable price too with beautiful views of the basilica. Take into consideration the basilica bells do ring every morning but we got used to it.
Honestly its not worth the £67 I paid for the room here. Usually I don't like giving bad reviews but for that kind of monney you can get a nice 3-4 star hotel. From air conditioning not working to the dirty tap, to the hot rooms it, to the breakfast in a walk way not in the building. Save yourself the trouble, again its the value for monney that annoys me.
Location is good and the breakfast place is nice but its just not worth the monney.
I can’t believe just how loud the nightclub underneath is! Might as well head down and find somewhere to sleep in the bar!
Ideal if you want an all night party in your hostel room, not ideal for rest and relaxation!
I’m wearing earplugs and I can still hear the music & beat! The vibrations are wild!
One of the worst hotel experiences in my life. There is a disco directly below this hostel that plays loud music until 2 a.m. I don't understand how you can run a hostel in this building.
