Very comfy homey hostel, excellent location away from the noise of the crazy party area, but still close enough to walk there. Close to convenient public transportation, lots of restaurants nearby. Friendly receptionist, very chill place.
We had a great time here. The hostel is in a beautiful building from the 19th century. It is very conveniently for buses and underground, near shops and restaurants. We had a private double room with a bathroom. The room was quite large and had a high ceiling and a beautiful wooden floor. The bed was very comfortable. There's also a sofa bed, which is great for relaxing. There's lots of cupboard space. No tv. Staff was very friendly, though we thought it strange that we could only pay with cash. Some things in the room were broken, like the lights above the bed. Also, the curtain was too small for the window. Just some small things to fix. But overall, I would recommend this place.
My friend spent there one night, I just accompanied her. She told me about her good experiences. The staff was polite and helpful, also the other guests.
Room was nice. Not clean enough imo. Great location. Nice atmosphere, but you will not get to meet lots of other travelers here as it is a smaller place. If you're looking for a quieter place which is located in a beautiful tho not extremely central street, a great place to be in.
We called ahead and said we would be arriving at 3pm which is the normal check-in time. We arrived at 3:30 and our room was still not ready. The receptionist then went to clean the room... which took about 40 additional minutes.. also the receptionist said we would get a student discount after showing our student IDs but we did not get any... besides this, the room was adequate and WiFi worked. I probably would not stay here again.
