Nice hotel but not great. It is an old building, nice a week-end in Budapest cause it is close to Center city and you can travel fast), but (we had 2 rooms booked) not so clean (windows dust) and the breakfast had a little variety to offer ( instant coffee - not nice)
Small and nice hotel. Consider that currently the building is under renovation work and the elevator doesn't reach the second floor. The room wad ok, a bit old style but I guess this is the story of the place. The rest and wash room are tiny so if you are big people be aware as you might not fit. Breakfast was more than fine although a bit more fresh fruits and vegetables would make it even better
The hotel lobby and reception area is charming. It has a 1920's Jazz theme to it which is nice. The two front desk attendants are quite helpful and answered all my questions and even taught me some Hungarian! The paid parking down the street was adequate, but we had a challenge getting out and had to call the company to raise the gate arm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast and "take out" breakfast were both excellent. It would be even better if it had a pool and or exercise room, but overall we enjoyed our two days and nights there.
Very nice rooms in art-deco style. beautiful decorated rooms. it is quiet in the night, but the rooms have no good isolation, so you hear sometimes other guests. but very central location, near all public transportation. great morning buffet, and very helpful friendly staff. we enjoyed it really.
The hotel is very old time though well maintained. Also it is very near to the city centre so it's very quick for you to roam around. You can also find good restaurants nearby including the Indian restaurants
