I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel itself is located a short walk from Grand Place, but that walk is made worth it by the friendly staff, unique rooms, and plentiful breakfast.
The rooms are all uniquely decorated in an artistic way. Mine in particular didn't have a bathroom door. It was a one bed room, so this wasn't an issue, but there WAS sight line from the shower to most of the room.
This turned into a laughing point for my partner and me after a day, and while it threw us off guard, we adjusted. The staff was super helpful in recommending things to do in Brussels, as well as just making conversation and seeming genuinely interested. With only 6 rooms, it's really cozy, both with the hosts and the other guests.
There's a small courtyard with a swing, but the real joy is breakfast! One long table for all the visitors, with homemade breakfast every morning. It's a great opportunity to chat and experience Brussels at an intimate, personal level.
This isn't your cardboard cutout standard hotel room. It's something unique and special. Give it a try, even if it's outside your normal comfort zone. You're in Brussels!
