This is a kind of popular design hotel, quite nice rough style showing raw concrete on ceilings and many areas. Rooms are of suitable size and have an ample bathroom. Pleasantly minimalistic design, effective and well made. Beds are comfortable. The hotel gusts can benefit of good italian restaurant pizzeria and two lively cocktails bar, one at ground floor and the other on the roof. Room price is very convenient. I decided to make this hotel my base in Brussels when (often) here for business, far better than more "formal" hotels.
They have unpleasant cleaning employees and a receptionist who, does not knock on the door, gets into the room when I stay in the hotel for more than 2 weeks, obviously she sees me without clothes. Miserable 15 euro breakfast for this?
The bathroom had a very bad smell. They told us that we are going to get a part of our money back and after 3 times of requesting they didn't even answer and we never saw our refund. It's was on December 2019. We can not recommend this place at all!
Cool hotel with an industrial vibe. I would recommend the atsukan (Japanese wellness)
Room was nice and cosy but extremely basic. There was a lot of noise from surrounding rooms and from doors opening and closing loudly until late at night. The breakfast is quite basic, probably not worth the €15 it costs. Lastly and most importantly, the atsukan bath experience that we had booked and paid for did not comply with any of the health measures against COVID-19. The baths and towels of the previous guests had not been cleaned when we entered, the staff didn't even notice that and asked us to enter the bath that had already been used by someone else! When we asked them to disinfect the area they did it in an extremely perfunctory and non-hygenic way. Overall, not worth the money you pay for such a mediocre experience.
