The hosts made every effort to make our stay a memorable one. No 12 is ideally located, a magnificent property full of the owners collection of antiques and the finery of art nouveau, deco and earlier periods and the most amazing Yixing teapot collection. Peter was the perfect host and provided a breakfast better than experienced at five star hotels we have stayed in with the attention to detail only possible from someone passionate about food. High quality bed linen on an authentic 1880s brass bed In a spotless bedroom with a private bathroom made our overnight stay complete. Would definitely recommend and return to stay again

We had a lovely stay at Number 12. Peter is an excellent host. We had everything we needed. We had a late check in and Peter had the key out for us so we were able to get in no problem.
There is free street parking available right in front of the house. The interior is beautifully decorated and is a lovely example of an old Queenslander home. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. It has all the amenities you need from hair dryer to tea.
Breakfast was delicious and is included. When we stayed there was a cereal bar with homemade granola, pastries, coffee and tea, fresh orange juice, and a hot breakfast with eggs prepared how you want them. We ate on the back veranda overlooking the garden.
I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat when in Brisbane! It's a unique house and one of a kind experience!

Faultless from service to accommodation. Hosts are welcoming, comfortable bed and breakfast fit for a king. Thankyou Peta and Eva for a perfect stay. Walkung dustance to ferry and close to airport.
