Attended a seminar at the hotel last week. The venue itself was nice but the catering was pretty ordinary. The best food was the canapés after the gig, it would have been nice to see some of that quality food for lunch and perhaps do some cheaper nibbles at the end of the day.
The availability of parking is unreliable. Be prepared to find a street parking and make an extra payment. The inconvenience is massive even if you can afford to pay for street parking fees but the parking is unavailable at hotel car park or on the streets around. We booked for a large room for three people for two nights. We got told we would not have room service because the first day was public holiday. That's acceptable. However, we were supplied a piece of soap, a small tube of hair shampoo for three adults for two nights without shower gel. No extra toilet roll. We saw coffee and tea on the shelf but as there was no kettle in the room we did not touch any coffee or tea. I have never seen such a stingy hotel in Australia. Even in country motels, a piece of soap or a tube of shower gel is supplied for each adult.

Enjoyed staying here, close to city and parks. Relaxing in a room with beautiful city views. Would definitely stay again. Go for a deluxe room with balcony and views for only a small amount extra - it is worth the upgrade.
Wonderful stay, friendly reception staff and helpful. We received a complimentary late stay and enjoyed the good coffee at the restaurant. Central to brisbane, walking distance to plenty of restaurants.
