Reviews from visitors:
We had a lovely stay at The Adina on George Street. It is in a fantastic location, walking distance to shops and restaurants and only a short walk over the bridge to South Bank and The Children's Hospital.
The rooms are modern and cleaned daily. We had a great comfy bed and an amazing view of the Brisbane river from our room.
The foyer and the pool area are so pretty. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!
Also parking was not an issue at all, just turn right down the alley before Pancake place and its right there under the building.
I love this place! The staff welcome you immediately like you’re family and genuinely care about you, the hotel and their job. The rooms are spacious, have everything you need and they are private and quiet. I am lucky enough to call this place home since I’m a tenant here and I’m forever grateful that I have found this place. It’s close to everything, has a gym, pool and the best restaurant (Donna Chang) near the foyer. Thanks to team for making this such an enjoyable experience for me!
I really enjoyed stayed at this central, spotless apartment/hotel.
My room was spacious with a great bed and bath/shower.
Kitchenette facilities were fine although a decent size mug instead of a thimble would have been nice!
I was going to stay for an extra night but reception offered me an offer I could refuse.
Beautiful hotel and amazing staff, ruined by their air con issues. We had a two night booking but had to check out after one. On the first night, the air con wouldn't go lower than 24 despite being set to 18. It also frequently turned off (apparently they're set to turn off if you're not around but ours turned off when we were there). We were unable to sleep with the heat and no air flow, using wet towels to cool down, before calling reception at midnight who were able to somehow remotely override these issues and we got to sleep comfortably.
The next day the problems persisted, especially with the sun on our balcony room, and we couldn't risk another sleepless night. So after 1.5 hours of back and forth with reception (being offered a fan, told they were trying to cool us down so wait to be called back) we were shown to a new room which was also hot. Staff basically said this was normal, which was baffling to us. We had to make the awful decision to check out, after losing many hours of our day waiting for a resolution instead of being out enjoying our holiday. We loved every other aspect of Adina and wish we could come back for the beautiful rooms and lovely staff, but the air con made the stay unbearable.
What a gorgeous hotel in the central location! It has beautiful interior all over the hotel, from the common area to the room. I would say it is worth staying here with luxurious style and reasonable price.
