Decent size rooms, but not very clean. Well equipped and definitely somewhere to stay in Brisbane.
As always, you have reception staff that are friendly and happy to assist, and then therenare those that are only there for the pay.
We are here for Quarantine post the spontaneous closure of the Queensland border on 13th Feb.
The facility is clean, the bed is so comfortable, the food is AMAZING and the service has been great. A big shout out to the chef's for the wonderful food, we really enjoyed the Valentine's desert surprise.
The Westin Brisbane has discontinued its pay tv. Poor decision especially when they are servicing hotel quarantine guests who are already locked on their rooms with limited options for entertainment. Clear case of the hotel trying to squeeze even more profit out of the government quarantine system.
Here for two weeks Government Quarantine. Staff and police are doing everything they can to keep us sane and happy. I have been DELIGHTED with the food - especially because they are catering to my diet requirements. Other hotels in the scheme are ripping guests off. This is not my experience here. I would love to return and stay as a regular guest. To all the team & chefs - thank you very much x
Not impressed at all with the room, in quarantine for 2 adults in a tiny room, no balcony, only one chair so one of us is always in bed, the supposed 5* food hotel doesn’t even deserve one, no choices for menu, it’s a take it or leave it, and still if we order from outside, we are charged 65$/day... we asked for more coffee on day 3 and we got instant sh** instead of nesspresso pods... seriously? Prisons are better than that ...
