I was pleasantly surprised by The Milton hotel. I love the Oaks group. I would usually stay at Oaks Aurora in the city, but prices per night were hefty on this particular weekend, so I thought I would try The Milton. Staff on arrival were wonderful. The room (1 Bedroom) was set out beautifully and the furniture was very comfortable. Despite the big old XXXX building next door, the view was also lovely. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
Shout out to the professional and thoughtful housekeeping staff. Left my iPad on a bedside table by mistake. Received a call about an hour after I checked out to let me know it had been found and left for me at the front desk. Great service. I will be back!
Room was nice but the bathroom wasn't fully cleaned prior to our arrival - considerable amount of hair from previous guest or cleaner.
Also worth noting car park was not included. Wasn't too expensive at $35 but still an unexpected cost considering the price of the room.
