The Godfrey Hotel is modern, clean and stylish. The hotel immediately presents itself as a sheek, high-end and comforting place to stay - this was a pleasant discovery given the price point was more than modest. Upon entering, the bellhop and concierge are genuinely helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms impeccably maintained and clean. We stayed a night with our two young children in a double queen, corner suite. The view of the theater district from our bed was magazine worthy, and certainly a fun feature of the room. We're excited to stay at The Godfrey Hotel for our next city trip.
If I could give 7 stars I would. Jk they don’t have bathtubs. Otherwise the rooms are super cute, clean, wicked comfy beds and fancy bathrooms. Well actually, the bathroom had a sliding door, not even a real door so I felt like I had zero privacy. We had a room in the corner of the top floor and the view was pretty, the mini fridge was actually cold, the thermostat was easy to adjust and lemme tell you the room got warm! The staff was super friendly explaining where to park which wasn’t far away at all. I wish our stay was longer but I’d definitely come back.
Greta hotel. Stayed for 4 nights with my girlfriend and we both had an amazing time visiting the city. Great breakfast spots nearby - Bonjours Cafe is a must. For shopping, Macy’s is literally right outside the entrance of the hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful, professional, and extremely attentive to our needs.
I would highly recommend to book here - we will again when we visit.
Stayed when we came into town for 2 days the returned a week later before hoping back on the plane to head home. Great downtown location. Hotel feels like we were important. Rooms are really nice and even with COVID-19 the stay was fun. Thanks.
I am many months late in writing this review. We visited Boston in August for our wedding anniversary and stayed here for the first time. I am exceedingly picky about hotels and am almost always disappointed. Hotels are noisy and always just slightly inconvenient. I was also concerned about COVID precautions as that was the one and only time we have travelled since the pandemic began. I was NOT disappointed in our stay. Staff was absolutely lovely. Warm, friendly, and extremely responsive. Their COVID protocols were on point. We had an issue with the a/c in our room and they moved us immediately even though it was midnight and let us keep the original room so we didn't have to move all of our stuff in the middle of the night. It was very quiet, though, with the pandemic I don't think there were more than a few guests on our floor so that may not apply to all times. Very convenient location - we parked our car in a faraway garage (much cheaper) and walked everywhere. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only complaint is that a sliding barn door is not appropriate as a bathroom door. I know why they did it for space saving reasons. But it's definitely not the level of privacy you might want :-) I look forward to staying here again!
