I loved it, the room and the wine gathering everyone was great. ( felt comfortable as a black couple)
This is unacceptable! I drove hours and arrived in the middle of the night only to find out hotel is completely closed! Nobody at front desk or over the phone under any number! But they are more than happy to keep taking reservations. I demand a full refund for such a lie!! Don't care it is nonrefundable!
Everyone here was very nice and the bed was very comfortable, but this is definitely in no way a 4-star hotel. The lamp in my bedroom was broken/one of the outlets just didn't work and the thermostat would only operate under the celsius function, not Fahrenheit (admittedly this was just funny). There also is not actually a hotel bar, even though online it says there is one, and there is also not a fridge in your room if you decide to go to the grocery store to make up for lack of food services in the hotel. Overall nothing was downright bad, but the experience was very underwhelming and everything online definitely oversold what this hotel actually delivers.
This is a historical place with continuous business about 100+ years. The interiors of the rooms are very modern and have lot of comfort. However, the rooms are comparably small/tiny. There was just a study desk, bed and a TV on wall. Thats about it. The service was awesome and the morning breakfast spread is comparably limited.
Overall happy. The room was very hot when I arrived. I opened the windows which helped. Loved the breakfast.
