Loved it! Really nice place to stay! Beautiful Inn with clean and comfy rooms, friendly staff and FREE parking! Walking distance to restaurants and Boston U. Nice neighborhood. Will definitely stay there again. Note: No coffee or fridge in the room but both are available in the kitchen.
My husband and I had an excellent stay. Our son had surgery at the Boston Children's Hospital. With the Longwood Inn location, the walk was 15 minutes/half a mile to the hospital. Brookline is a very safe and active neighborhood. Harvard Street is about a half a mile away with dining and shopping. The Inn was quiet, clean, cozy and accommodating. Having a communal kitchen was nice for preparing meals. Something I found helpful from other reviews was to bring your own coffee pot. The kitchen has coffee pots and prepares coffee daily, but it was nice having coffee in the room. The Inn staff was very kind and worked with is when we needed to extend our stay. Another major plus is that parking is free and the parking is off the streets. Our room was cozy with a large, in room, bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!
We've stayed here many times for medical trips to Boston. Nice Victorian charm, extremely clean rooms, great neighborhood, convenient free parking. Barb and the staff are great. Honest housekeeping.... I left a valuable ring in the room and it was found and returned.... wow. I can't say enough about this place.
Great location, quite a few colleges and hospitals, took a look around today , but will be staying there on Thursday. Busy area though.
