I’ve been meaning to leave a review even though it’s been couple months since we stayed at this Colonnade Hotel in Boston. And I don’t usually take the time to do these reviews unless the establishment really done an outstanding job or if they done exact opposite. Just had one over night stay to visit my college kid. This hotel staff had went above and beyond to result the issue I was having when I had booked it through online website TravelZoo. So I decided to call the hotel directly and they were so helpful, courteous and professional. From checking in to checking out, they were extremely accommodating. The hotel parking deck was very convenient. The hotel and our room was immaculate & beautiful. Even their main entrance restrooms were so clean and gorgeous, seriously! I can only speak for the ladies laboratories:-) (After we checked out, we stayed around town and passed by to use their restroom before heading home.) even my older child that came with me loved this hotel, we have how these young adults don’t usually have much to say about these things, we would definitely return to them again next time in town. I felt so fortunate to have find them. The rates at that time was incredible reasonable. Felt like a five star hotel! Thank you for all of your hard work to make us feel safe and at peace! Keep up the great work!
On a more recent visit the hotel was nearly empty. I did change rooms from the Huntington Ave side with loud traffic to the South Side neighborhood view, which was more quiet. Oddly, my upgraded, larger room did not have a sitting chair. When I traded for a room across the hall, while smaller, it had a comfy chair. The front desk staff didn't seem to even know about the sitting chair. All very confusing.
Review from my prior visit: Great location, comfortable rooms. However, if you are any sort of a light sleeper kiss your night's sleep goodbye. Room doors are loud when neighbors start moving about. One a weekday after about 7 am it is near impossible to sleep.
I think we might have had the best room! The Colonade Hotel upgraded our room, i will probably not be able to afford that room regular price but what a great experience Nice views and great service! Front desk clerk Orlando was very polite, helpful and good it felt good to see a person of color! ♀️ Wont stay anywhere else. I cant wait for the pool to be open from the picture it looks cool!
Always a great experience at the Colonnade. Son attends Northeastern University. Great location. Extremely clean and covered parking included in the pricing. Other hotels charge separately.
Amazing stay right in the center of it all!!! Room was very clean and it had all the amenities one would need. The lobby was beautifully decorated and it was a nice place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee...staff was very knowledgeable and helpful (Chris was awesome!). Our 1st visit to Boston was a great one because of our stay at the Colonnade!!
