Incredible friendly owners, showing a lot of flexibility and really putting their guests at the first place!
A joy to stay here. Gildas is delightful. Breakfast is healthy and delicious. Room was light and perfectly airconditioned, and all amenities were of the highest quality. It's not cheap but it is worth it! We will return, thank you.
There are so many fantastic things to say about this place! It’s not just beautiful and comfortable, but the staff was outstanding. I’ll start with the latter. My husband had the unfortunate luck of falling ill during our time there. They were quick to accommodate and find us a driver to bring us back from our Sunday group tour in St. Emilian, which was 40 minutes away. Once we returned, they offered to find us a doctor and checked-in with us frequently to see how he was feeling, even after we’d checked out. They were always available even on Sunday. It’s hard to get this sort of attention from a regular hotel or hotel staff, and it was very comforting to have had that when one of us wasn’t feeling 100%. We are so grateful for the extra attention.
As far as the B&B itself, we stayed in one of the top rooms. The pictures online made it seem so beautiful, so we compromised on a building without a lift and it was so worth it. All of the rooms were nicely spread out so that it felt private, and the room was well-equipped with all amenities, including a filtered water pitcher so that we weren’t pinned to the bottled water in the fridge.
There was additional information in the room with restaurant recommendations and other suggestions to make the most of our visit, and that helped us plan some parts of our stay. It was conveniently located, so we were also able to rent bicycles from them one of the days and explore the town on our own. The breakfasts were great, fresh and generous. We had an early start before breakfast one day, and they prepared a bagged breakfast for us to take with us on our excursion.
I simply can’t say enough good things about this B&B and the staff, and I highly recommend it. Everything about it was perfect despite our own personal hiccup!
The young Texan/Bordelaise couple who owns the B&B has managed to create a place that has elevated the B&B concept to a cool, calm boutique hotel, albeit a lot more personal. The design shows their love of detail and Hannah's background in haute cotoure. Everything is thought through and finished with the best materials. The beds are so comfortable that I'm trying to get the same one for my home. Breakfast is delicious, the rooms and the shower very spacious and erveryone who works there, especially lovely Charlotte, extremly personable and easy going. We cannot recommend it enough.
What a fabulous place! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breastfast is perfect. Fresh breads, cheese and fruit, with eggs made to order. Gildas and Hannah were wonderful hosts. Bikes are available for rent which we used to get around the city. The B&B is located close to everything. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back!
