Wonderful boutique hotel Great location. Wonderful and friendly staff. I have stayed at Hotel de Tourny on two trips to Bordeaux and absolutely loved the decor, the attention to detail in their beautifully decorated lounge and dining areas. Don't miss out! Book this spot. Very close to all the best shopping and restaurants, so close to Ave Catherine and surrounded by beautiful buildings.
This small boutique hotel is in a quiet street no more than ten minutes’ walk from the centre of Bordeaux old town. The reception team is on duty 24/7, speak good English, and couldn’t have been more helpful. They drew intelligible directions on our map, re-confirmed reservations, and loaned us four umbrellas for a drizzly evening. Rooms were modest in size, but very comfortable and well-appointed. Minor detail but excellent black-out curtains for a good night’s sleep! We dilly-dallied about having breakfast in the hotel as so often it’s not good value because many proprietors use it as an opportunity to profit from a ‘captive’ customer. Not in this case. Tourny provide a really enjoyable breakfast – it’s limited in choice but simple, straightforward and just what one needs. If you want cooked food first thing in the morning then you’re better off taking pot luck in the many restaurants nearby, but for us it was perfect on both days.
We were very, very happy with our stay at Hotel de Tourny. The room (we were upgraded to a suite by the hotel) was beautifully designed with ample room for two people. The beds and pillows very, very comfortable and their is attention to detail everywhere (-: It is in a perfect location to walk Bordeaux. The staff are welcoming, friendly and provided answers to all our questions. I would highly recommend this hotel!
The staff was extremely helpful, warm and inviting. They had great restaurant recommendations based on what we were looking for. The rooms were impeccably clean and tastefully designed. One of the best places I have ever stayed! Another special thank you to their excellent staff members.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and our room had all we needed and was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was very comprehensive.
