We stayed for a long weekend in apartment 802 on the ground floor. The onsite staff, especially Cecilia was attentive and very helpful at check in. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was a real 'home from home' during our stay. Amenities are close by and all the major attractions and great restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. The ride from the airport is only 15 minutes, so its a great location when visiting for a short period. Would highly recommend for couples and look forward to returning!
The best customer service you can ask for!!! Our luggage was lost and they were able to help us with it. Very conveniently located in Bologna!
Had a great stay and will recommend. Kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed and we even did a load of laundry on our last day! Quiet enough , great safe location, key code to get in, and air con. Also the manager responds to her phone within minutes. Perfect! Also, can my bathroom at home have as much character as this one?!
The apartments are in a good location with it being a 10 minute stroll to the city centre. Our apartment was decorated in a quirky way which we enjoyed. It has a kitchen which is fully stocked and there is also a complimentary coffee machine in the room. There are no communal areas but the apartment is a good size. Our apartment did not have a view and directly faced another building.
We did however find the apartment to be very dusty. When we were in the room my partner's asthma was worse and we were both sneezing a lot. When we were packing to leave, we saw that there were also dust clumps under the bed which had not been vaccummed. The edges of the room were also very dusty and the apartment is not cleaned throughout your stay. The option to have your room cleaned is available but that comes at an extra cost.
Whilst the staff were friendly and helpful, the office is only open at certain times and closes at 6pm. We had a late evening flight and we were only able to leave our bags until this time which was a bit inconvenient for us. It is also worth noting that the usual checkout time is 10am which we found to be slightly earlier than other places. We had requested a late checkout but we were only given this until 11am.
On the whole, I am not sure if we would stay here again. These apartments are also not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and there are a lot of stairs.
Francesca and Federica became a part of the family. My wife and I rented 7 of the 8 apartments in L8 to host our families during our destination wedding to Bologna.
L8 recommended a photographer (MaMa Photo). They found a florist who made a picture we sent her of a bouquet almost identical. They were accommodating in every way imaginable.
Oh, and the apartments. Wow. Each one is unique, attention to detail. They feel like home. Best location in Bologna.
If you are looking for a place to stay, don't look any further.
