It is a very nice hostel. It is just like your home. There is no receptionist available 24hours due to limited number of room and they do not need to hire full time. I like the way they operate this hostel. For a guest, we need to check their check-in time before you book. For the room, it is clean, nice, good environment, close to train station, cafe, restaurant but far from city center attraction. Overall, I am satisfied with this hostel. I love it
Me and my friend arrived in hotel for check in at 14:30 ( check -in hour written from 13:00 -18:00) and rang bell for several time..no one was there. Waited for 10 min and called the owner. At first he told us to come to another structure. When he heard that we were bit anxious , he came after 30 min with a pillow without covering that pillow in one plastic bag ! He gave us the key for check in . The bed was not the real king size bed . The price for that room in my view ...it should have been like 7€ / person not 35 €. The bathroom was not attached in a room but was attached in the the same floor with no proper locking of the door ! The room seems very dirty with dim light with very very thin blanket for the month of november.
In the evening, when we were about to close the door of the gate, appeared in front of us a ukranian couple who were supposed to do check in in this hotel before 18:00 were not able to do that as they arrived very late and according to them there were no informations on this. Since it was already 22:10 in the evening, I called the owner but he was not even listening to me as he was telling me that he couldn't do anything on that ! How can a person be so greedy only to money! At least in the name of humanity , he should have helped them as they were in difficulties and there were nowhere where they could search to sleep for that night ! Anyway we were able to help them to find the accomodation
for that night !
So mean and arrogant owner !
Please do not stay in this hotel!
The room smelled of cigaretts and and I arrived the owner of the hotel arrived after 30 minutes with a pillow for my room without cover or protect It to keep It clean, in fact also the pillow smelled of cigaretts. The bathroom its in the hall and It was impossible to lock the door.
In the room at morning its cold and there was only a really thin blanket.
Just don’t. While close-ish to Bologna Centrale, there are better places. Check AirBnB .
