Reviews from visitors:
Excellent location in the centre of Bologna. Good breakfast, particularly considering the impact of Covid on the ability to serve people. Great staff who work very hard. We had a family room which everyone liked - good sized double and two single beds. We took a taxi to the hotel as it was about the same price as the Aerobus (which would be a 15 min walk)
Lovely hotel right in the heart of Bologna!! It is very old-fashioned decor though, so if that’s not your thing you might not like it. The staff could not have been nicer or more hospitable. Juneth was the best - she helped me navigate parking and even helped me place a to-go food order in Italian. Everything is so easily walkable from here, the breakfast spread in the mornings was lovely, and the complimentary chocolates and tea in our room was a nice touch. Learn from our mistake though and DO NOT bring a car. Driving here was a nightmare and added unnecessary stress to our otherwise lovely trip.
Perfect location in Bologna! Small lounge on the second floor, clean rooms, breakfast included (until 11:00), comfortable beds. Room windows sound proof. Excellent hotel!
Beautiful hotel, and everyone is so helpful and lovely! Highly recommended if you're coming to Bologna!
Our travel agent booked this hotel for us because we asked for central but we didn’t realize how Central it actually was!
It is a gorgeous little hotel squashed into the Square where everything happens. Close to the seven churches, piles of restaurants and shops plus the most important - the ‘incomplete’ Basilica of San Petronio - A must see in Bologna.
The staff were just wonderful and a nice little touch is all the biscuits and nice little snacks and treats would appear in the lovely open lounge room of a day. This is not the sort of thing you find in a hotel these days.
The room was quite small the bathroom was even smaller but this is something you have to expect in the old part of the city. And in Italian walled cities in general. The old cities just weren’t designed for multi story massive seven star hotels with swimming pools and tennis courts!!!
If you stay in Bologna - STAY HERE!!
