Although it’s in a great location and amazing landscape with river, the quality of room and service were really poor. Even I wrote a direct message while I was booking a junior suite room to do a romantic wedding anniversary surprise to my wife, they gave me the one of the worst rooms, with no river and city views. And if you check what they promise to give you in booking.com or their web page, normally they have 3 junior suite rooms on top floor with amazing view. Nevertheless instead of apologizing for this issue, they offered us lower quality room to stay. It was a big mistake and disappointing to choose nhow hotel!
List of pro's and cons:
PRO:
- Amazing breakfast, very diverse.
- Location very close to subway / train
- Clean
- Nice terrace on the river side
- "Special" design of the hotel. Never seen a hotel like this (nice 80-90's style)
- Staff speaks English
CON:
- Parking can either be free or 18€/night. Depends if you can catch a spot in front of the hotel (for free parking). Otherwise you have to park in the subterran parking.
- No electric charger for electric cars (in neither of the parking places)
- No tv in the room (I did not care as I don't watch TV)
- Free WiFi can be rather slow (you're warned when you connect). You can pay money to have better internet connection (10€) but in my opinion it should be free
Room is fine, liked the big bath tub. Breakfast was OK. Room service was HORRIBLE and never came despite ordering 3 times. I ordered a pizza last night and it never came, just said pending. The drink I ordered was rejected, no reason why. Today I ordered fries and it said the order was approved. I wait an hour, and when I call to ask when they were coming they said they don't serve fries before 12? So why approve my order? I just wanted to relax in my room and now I'm hungry and frustrated.
The hotel is super clean and modern. But the best of all is the service. Kai has helped so much, super attentive, kind and helpful! 10 stars for Kai!
