This place s a nice little hotel in a great area which I imagine was once over a beautiful classic building. The bar and breakfast still take place at the classic building, but due to COVID it was closed at the time we went. The staff are very friendly and will make sure that everything is comfortable for you, and the gym also has all the equipement you could possibly need for a holiday workout. If anything, I wouldn't recommend to pay for the upgrade on the courtyard view room, cause the courtyard doesn't look all that pretty.
The hotel was okay, nice design, good service, great bacon at breakfast, a little bit smaller room, but they accomodated our demand for quite room and even gave us free upgrade. During our stay however we had a big disagreement with booking com who charged us more than 100 EUR more for the stay then current advertised price on their own website! It was extremely frustrating experience which ruined large part or our holiday. The hotel was involved and eventually they offered 10 or 20 EUR discount, nice gesture but that is all. It also took approximately 2 days for the blocked money to unblock and i had to call the bank for this.
Cozy rooms, equipped with everything you need (iron and ironing board, kettle and tea/coffee, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, cotton kit). Veeeery nice soft sheets. Convenient checkout at 12.00.
We were forced to cancel a vacation due to COVID19 and of the 20 hotels we had booked, this was the only hotel that refused to give us a refund/ discount or credit against a future stay. Despite phoning and numerous emails to them, they steadfastly refused to offer any help.
Good luck in your recovery guys. Not very hospitable
Customer service is appauling. They lost my booking, claimed I didn't exist, yet I have payment receipts
