Beautiful and comfortable hotel with great "feel-at-home" factor. When you walk in, coming in from the streets in the city center, you land immediately in a sunny and warm oasis of charm, culture, and a style I can only label "eclectic opulence" with warm colours - and I love the honesty bar :)
The hotel seemed clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The decor is cute and overall well themed. However, there are no facilities to make drinks in the rooms (the water provided is charged for) and the wood floors, whilst beautiful, mean that you can hear everything in the corridor and made a lie in impossible.
Honigmond Hotel was a great experience. Unlike usual hotels, this easily encompasses the culture and lineage of the surrounding area. The rooms were furnished with very nice pieces, and all displayed beautiful works of art. Very nice and friendly staff as well.
Avoid if you are used to comfort and professional service. No air conditioning, WiFi barely works, could not even load mail, uncomfortable beds making me sweat due to plastic cover, rude and indifferent staff, and finally the rooms are fake antique, it's all modern made. Avoid at all costs.
Great hotel and it I'd in the centre of the city and just 2 mins walk to underground and tram. Good customer service. Highly recommended.
