Bergamo is a beautiful city and the GombitHotel is a one of a kind hotel located in the heart of Citta Alto. Walk to a myriad of one of a kind restaurants, patisseries and boutiques. The staff was a pleasure and happy to assist with any request. Unique hotel, fabulous location, eclectic interior, modern rooms..............I cannot wait to return.
What an nice historic hotel with a very good location. You can see the walls in the breakfast room which are still having some old fresque.
Room are spacious, hotel is charming, and we have been impressed by the kindness and the genuine touch of Fabio which is working in the hotel. What a peaceful place.
I will go again next time in Bergamo.
we had a relaxing weekend in Bergamo Alta. The B&B is Nice situated inside City Alta where there is walking distance to everything. Katarina was a wonderful host and did have great tips to places and restaurants. Nice breakfast served at the time we wanted. This B&B is highly recommended by us and we hope to come back.
Great location, close to the Citta Alta and the shopping area nearby. The rooms are alright, but they show their age. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and nice. Nice stay overall.
Great location in the center, thorough and easy instructions, clean and modern spacious rooms and all the accommodations of tea, coffee, TV and a balcony with a beautiful view. They also have air conditioning and wooden blinds that are perfect for a long sleep-in. The bathroom is big and clean and the bed is comfortable. We lived in the room 503 Rolex which we were very happy with!
The few downsides were that since the location is so centered, the sounds of the streets and the church bells reach you easily. Also the sounds from the lobby is rather easy to hear from our room. Didn't bother us much though.
The water boiler for the showers only holds 80L hot water per 15 minutes, which might be good to know. We didn't get bothered by this either, since we could both could shower without any trouble.

Very good place for spending prolonged weekend of sightseeing or conference attendance . Very close to bus stops, bars and coffeeshop. You may go by walk to Citta Alta and even closer to the center of Citta Bassa. Very helpful host showing the best opportunities to spend time.
We really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The room was nice and clean and the service from Massimo was really friendly. The place is quite central where lots of good restaurants and bars are around.
