Cute and cozy with a very nice breakfast served in the room because of covid 19. The staff are really, really nice.
Very nice B&B in the heart of the old City of Bergamo. Small establishment, very friendly tenant/personnel, very quiet room even with windows open (excluding the garbage collectors) overlooking a little piazza, very good buffet breakfast (could however propose also muesli on top of standard cereals). Provide special permit for circulating/parking in the restricted area - beware of this and request it in advance if possible. Small B&B thus no lift. No A/C but fan provided.
Well...Great location, clean and well equipped, but few cons.: the so many high stairs to the rooms. It is very complicated to climb with luggage and do not think they have any arrangement for wheelchairs!
Breakfast is limited and this morning they've run out of bread!
We send down to the closest backary to buy some bread.
So grade would be as much as 8 to my view.
Clean rooms with good beds and modern bathrooms with excellent showers. Lovely breakfast included. *But*: very loud noises from the street and the pub next door, late into the early morning hours. You will hear the noise even if you're staying on the very top floor. Not La Torre's fault, but not a great spot if you need some sleep!
Lovely B&B in a fantastic location on the main street. Little bit noisy but very minor and a lovely breakfast. Couldn't fault it.
