We have stayed at this hotel and also the sister hotel in Albir Robin Hood. We find the magic group of hotels to be fantastic for children who love the themed hotels. This hotel is located very conveniently for the beach and all Benidorm ammenities. Please do be aware it is up a steep hill ( cardiac hill as the locals like to call it!) So consider this if you have any mobility issues. The rooms are large and comfortable. We found the food fantastic and our little girl had a fab time in the kids club one day when the weather wasn't too good.
This is not actually a review but we have had to change the date of our family holiday to April next year (easter). First Choice say waterslides and pool are open early May but when I sent a private messenger to the hotel asking the question the hotel told me yes they would be fully open. . We have 6 children coming, can someone please confirm that they will be open.
NOT A REVIEW - I am currently in Benidorm and wanted to go have a look at Magic Aqua Rock Gardens as I was going to book there and stay a few more days. But...
It does not seem open, tape all around at entrance so you can't even get to the entrance doors.
Was hoping to book this for a week so glad I looked at it first before I booked it.
The hotel felt very unclean. Found blood stains on the bedding and questionable stains on the throw. Toilet seat was wrapped with a banner saying it has been disinfected only to find dried up wee all over the toilet seat. 5 mains socket on the room only to have 2 working. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel but after our stay I would say it's more of a 2/3 star. The hotel is VERY outdated and looked very run down. Staff on the other hand are very friendly and helpful.
Overall, if we do decide to go back to Benidorm we would not go back that hotel.
The staff at this hotel were fantastic, room cleaned daily and the whole hotel is generally very clean. Food is good with lots of choices. Ideal location for everything in benidorm. This hotel is good for any age from kids to hotel. We have booked again to go next year. Definitely recommend, especially for families
