Good location, clean room, air conditioning, good price
The most unhelpful staff and that's when you can get into reception as closed when I got there at 6.30 PM with other customers bad management
Check in was easy enough, even though staff were not very friendly. The room was very dirty and incredibly small. There were old stains over each wall. Our room was meant to be a double room but for some peculiar reason we had not only a double bed, but also a broken single bed (metal legs had snapped and relying on nothing sellotape to hold it up, the slats where broken in the middle and the middle of the mattress was on the floor). The night we arrived, we went out. I had left €50 in our room, but when we returned only €10 was on the dresser. On our second night, we came back early, the reception was unmanned and a note to say it will stay unmanned until 4pm the following day (this happened every night and day during our stay, even though website says 24 hour manned reception). At 3am I was woken by our room door being unlocked by a card and opened. I sat up and saw the gentleman who booked us in entering our room. He swiftly about turned and ran off leaving our room door open when he found us in bed and me watching him. I reported this eventually when someone came on duty and was told "you have just imagined this, it's not true". The day after that the manager blocked our room card, preventing us from getting in, and demanded €200 incase of damage to an already damaged inadequate room, or leave the hotel that day.I gave her the money by card, then 2 days later she demanded more money or leave the hotel. We left the hotel and demanded a refund of our previous €200.The manager refused to refund this until i threatened her with the police. We left two days before we were due to fly home. This hotel is ridiculous, discussing, and inadequate. The staff are rude, unreliable, unfriendly and very unhelpful. I can not say that the money that went missing from our room was taken by a member of staff! But it beggers belief as to Why a member of staff let themselves into our room at 3am in the morning, knowing the room was occupied and ran off when realising we were actually in it at the time.
I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING WELL AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED BOUTIQUE HOTEL.
The cleaning staff is very bad, we stayed 8 days and they didn't change our bed linen. But the location is the best, 2 minutes walk from the beach, Mercadona, the market and many shops. Also a plus for one girl from the reception, she was very nice. The balcony is very big and you can enjoy a drink or even breakfast there.
