I recommend the Good People Hostel 100%. It's really cozy and clean place and has everything that any traveler needs. The beds are super comfortable and the curtains are great! Also the owners and the whole team are friendly, helpful and funny!
Good and safe place with a great atmosphere. The location of the hostel is perfect. The city center and good cafes and bars are just nearby. It has a nice common area and a beautiful garden. More important, it is affordable. It would be perfect if the toilets were just a bit cleaner. Still, I would recommend it and come again.
It is so fulfilling to see that there are people who realize that hostels are more than stacking some cheap bunkbeds into a moldy old room and milking money out of them. This hostel is run by passionate people who are putting in the thought and effort even into every small aspect of a hostel day after day. From the privacy centered capsule beds with more than ample storage, frequent cleaning of washrooms even during odd hours at night, well equipped kitchen and much much more, this ranks as one of the best hotels in the world.
Initially I thought the common room was small and worried If could manage my work but that room always had a space if I wanted to work or even if I wanted to have a beer and that space being it’s size helps connect with people better. The internet speed and quality is top notch and this can be a heaven for digital nomads for that sole reason. Also loved the events that happens at least once a week and the lovely dog Iris who is sort of the hostel mascot
The location is perfect with supermarkets and popular attractions nearby and this hostel can literally be the only reason to stay in Belgrade and aptly named Good People because it’s run by and attracts Good people.
Enjoying my current stay here and would love to also stay here in my future visits to Belgrade. Highly recommended for both long and short stays
The hosts are so welcoming, the place is beautiful !
Beds are comfy and you get your privacy with curtains. The hotel is perfectly clean at any time (I don’t think there’s a time in the day I haven’t seen someone cleaning something ). The kitchen is well equipped and the main room where we all stay is comfy as well.
If I ever come back to Belgrade there’s no way I’m staying somewhere else than there !
