I had a trip booked to Barcelona for March 21st through March 27th and it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I paid $602.88 USD up front and the hotel is refusing to refund me my money. I will never use their hotels and I will tell everyone I know not to use them as well. This isn’t how you treat paying customers, especially when something is out of their control.
Great hotel! Best spot in El born! The room wasn’t huge but we had a cute balcony :) everything was clean, the sangria in the bar is perfect and the staff is kind and welcoming. We had a night flight and wanted to have a late check out but the hotel was fully booked so they let us use the showers of their next door hotel. Thank you!
This place is very charming and clean. The staff is exceptional and extremely accommodating. They will store your luggage before your flight as well. The free water was a huge bonus as well. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to be in the middle of the Born neighborhood. You are so close to everything here. Would also recommend the breakfast here as it’s fast and really good! The rooms are a nice mix of contemporary and classic Barcelona. Would definitely stay again! Thanks
Great, central location in a nice neighbourhood, as a tourist I didn't feel scared in this area. Really loved having the free water, huge plus. Staff were great to work with as well. Rooms are quite smaller than what I was expecting and a bit hard to maneuver with two suitcases, so something to keep in mind if you've got larger suitcases with you.
Enjoyed our stay at Chic and basic in El Born! Great location and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants.
We stayed in two different rooms #22 with a cozy courtyard view and on our return visit we room #4 with the great balcony view of the plaza which we preferred.
The rooms were clean, the king sized beds super comfy! The shower stall was incredible with great pressure and super heated water.
Not much room to store your things but for a short stay it worked.
The staff was awesome and extremely helpful.
Would definitely stay here again!
