Reviews from visitors:
Rooms are terribly overpriced for what you get (size, light, breakfast, ...)
Just go for another hotel in this budget and you will get 3x higher quality.
Hotel staff is incredibly friendly though. Thanks to all of them.
You have to stay in this amazing hotel in Barcelona. We actually had another hotel reservation and i am so glad we changed it to this hotel. From the time you arrive, till you leave, you are treated like the best guest and you feel so much at home.
Location: perfect hidden gem in Barcelona. Located right on the shopping street and opposite Casa Batllo, this is literally the best place to stay. We walked everywhere, it is safe and you are close to everything. We actually slept in on 2 days because we loved staying in the hotel in the lounge, relaxing and catching up on work and reading.
Room : one of the best rooms we have stayed in. Big, spacious, with everything you want. Very clean too. Aesop products everywhere.
Breakfast : eggs made to order, good food too.
Ambience : i honestly felt like this was our home and we can relax and walk to get hot coffee/ hot tea at night and relax in the lounge. Super lovely lounge area and very clean.
Staff: Nacho and the rest of the team are wonderful and very kind. Suggested places to go, told us about Barcelona and we had a good chat.
Would not stay anywhere else when we go to Barcelona! A perfect 10!
This is not the typical hotel in Barcelona, disconnected with the hustle and bustle so you can really rest and find a space full of calm in the middle of this great city, few rooms, great attention, s place where You feel at home.
We could not have had a more memorable experience in Barcelona! Members of staff were outstanding, the room amazing (did have our room overlooking street, with huge amounts of natural light) with any needs so readily accommodated, from best travel options to hotel, local hairdresser etc. The hotel's location is also very apt - delivering a semblance of safety with global brand shops in the immediate vicinity, wide pavements with large number of tourists and pedestrians; the French pastry shop around the corner a delight for lunch or breakfast on the go, local rooftop bars of both the Mandarin Oriental and Hotel Majestic worth the visit, plus the Cathedral a good 10 minute walk and free entry before 9am. The local beach (down by the W Hotel) has quarried dirt as sand, so do take old towels and lower your expectations both in food there and experience; the beaches outside Barcelona a far better option if you have time. The cable-car was a disappointment with 20 persons crammed into the small cab with dirty windows and if you did not secure a slot by the glass window, there was very little to see and a requirement to leave the cable-car at one end, only to queue for a further 30-40 minutes for the return. Hawker 45 was a fabulous find for a restaurant - fusion food that was very appreciably priced and a lovely walk back to hotel; Solomillo does deliver a great steak, but do take the more expensive option re portions, otherwise you are delivered a steak resembling a wiener schnitzel. The yacht club on the harbour also disappointed - plates taken away long before balance of guests at same table had finished eating and no service at all when needing wine poured or water needed.
Very comfortable ... make you feel at home ..
