Decor was great and the hotel was well maintained. The individual who greeted us was one of the kindest people. He really made the whole experience very personal, which you will never get at a big chain hotel. The room was clean and well maintained and was pretty big. Overall, our stay was great! Not a touristy spot, but there were tons of places to eat nearby ... I wasn't trying to find the touristy spot for this last part of my trip - so that part was a plus for me.
A lovely, small hotel, with bright, spacious rooms and very friendly hosts.
Be careful when booking this hotel!
We booked a room over one month before arrival and received a booking confirmation. On your booked date we received a cancelation from the hotel for no reason. It is extremely hard to get in contact with the hotel. They said it’s their fault because they overbooked, but can’t do anything about it. Their staff was in this situation neither friendly, nor helpful.
If you want to be sure that you have a reserved room during your stay in Barcelona, book another hotel.
This hotel was pretty much perfect. It's a stunning, renovated building with beautiful details and a small number of rooms. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and the staff was so friendly. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived - we were offered refreshments to enjoy in the beautiful courtyard. 10/10, this place is worth every penny.
