A really nice hotel located in a chic area with reasonable price. I really enjoyed my stay as it is near Diagonal metro station so very easy to get around. The room is clean and it has a nice setting.
The Good - Great location, thorough and helpful housekeeping and nice design
The Bad - The elevators reverberate throughout the building, and are quite loud at night. Based off prior reviews, this is an ongoing problem. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend staying somewhere else.
The right lift/escalator is currently broken as it makes a loud squeaking noise. I have spoken to 5 different staff about it and moved rooms and still no one has done anything about it. I've barely slept for 2 days and I'm exhausted and it's still outstanding. I've suggested putting an out of order sign but no one is listening. I just feel really exhausted and stressed. I have stayed here before and not had this problem but they don't handle complaints at all.
We had our reservation for Dayuse just 5 hours staying here. The location was the perfect!! Good for shopping, and fabulous neighborhood. If there were bigger rooms this hotel, I would love to stay sometimes.
The hotel is very well situated. Perfect place to be in Barcelona. A few blocks walk from three Gaudi places including Sagrada Familia. Very neat, tidy and clean hotel. Nice size rooms as well. The breakfast however, is a little limited.
