Excellent hostel located very close to Phaya Thai BTS sky train station, although the shortest walking route from there to the accommodation - via a condominium’s forecourt - has limited hours after dusk if that’ll be a problem for you.
Otherwise, walking from Ratchathewi BTS sky train is an alternative although longer perambulation. In either case, the sois (alleys) adjoining the lane which the hostel finds itself, are occupied by a plethora of street food options during the day, to complement the smaller eateries which also reside in this area of the capital.
The hostel has a very nice feel, especially from the plentiful greenery - specifically the interior garden court, after the reception/shoe area. The resident tabby is also charming, although if you’re against small animals you might dislike the periodic and slightly insistent meowing.
Very nice hostel, the staff is friendly and always willing to help. The chair/hammock are really cool. And the net over the common area too. Bathroom and other private areas are very clean. I had a good stay and it is well located. I recommend the place.
Nice clean modern hostel. The private rooms were small and a bit basic for the price. The walls don't muffle most next room noise so you should hope for quiet neighbours. The community area is very nice and well kept and the massive hammock makes it just about worthwhile. There seemed to be a big female presence among the guests while we were there. Nice quiet street but a little bit rough around the edges if you are new to Bangkok.
Kloem Hostel was an amazing stay and so very helpful! Very clean and friendly staff alongside how beautiful it is. Highly would recommend staying here for a while. They even helped us get to our train on time when we were running late!
Seriously perfect. Cheap, everything is just like in the pictures, friendly stuff. You get local knowledge & tips, free maps, everything. Love it
