2 HOTEL PAPA BANGKOK SIRIRAJ

images
A truly Instagrammable and affordable hostel with no-fuss check-in. It comes with lovely, spacious rooms and well-kept shower rooms. The hostel is located along the main road so you'll hear the occasional roar of motorcycles at night. Nevertheless, the management provides free ear plugs to help resolve the issue, which I think is not bad at all. Breakfast is provided but limited only to toasted broad and cereals.
3 Northgate Ratchayothin

Quiet and suitable for families looking for a spacious place and more than one room in one place, room service is excellent, tuk-tuks are available all day long for delivery to nearby places and the train station for free.
5 Siri Oriental Bangkok Hotel

Stayed here for one night, had a super cute lobby and cafe. The bed was a little hard and the a/c didn't get quite cold enough but it was fine for just one night. Breakfast was great!
6 Mode Sathorn Hotel Bangkok

images
Many staffs are very kind. It is the best place that MSH is located at near the subway station!
7 The Raweekanlaya

Very good customer service. Friendly staff. The pool is small but good for family-size and intimate bonding. Clean atmosphere, plus the plants and trees around make the place more relaxing!
8 Revolution Hostels

images
David the owner is so nice and helpful. The location is perfect, just a walk to the terminal 21. I had a very lovely stay.
9 Baan Kachitpan

My girlfriend and I loved our stay here. Host was very gracious and welcoming. Our flight didn’t get into Bangkok until 1:30am, and the host, Pam, stayed up so she could give our driver directions and open the gate for us. Very close to a lot of the major Bangkok attractions and delicious street food.
10 Riva Arun Bangkok

images
A fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. The room was compact but had everything we needed. We were within walking distance from great restaurants and to several must see temples. A great feature is/was their sister program with another hotel that allowed us access to their pool to relax at after a long day of sightseeing!
11 W22 by Burasari

Located near Wat Mangon MRT station which surrounded by convenient store and places. Affordable price.
13 Tropical Summer Cafe & Hostel

images
Really nice place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. I felt in love with the rooftop. It's amazing to relax there after a long day. The hostel is very clean and i can recommend it to everyone.
Thank you!
14 Dang Derm Hotel

images
Nice hotel right in the middle of the action. Very easy 2am check in. Allowed us to have 5pm check out for small fee. Rooftop bar and pool looked nice (although we didn't use them). Not too much noise at night, comfortable and clean.
15 Praya Palazzo Boutique Hotel Bangkok

images
Excellent service. I love the fact that the typical reception/concierge area is almost non existent (they do in room check-in). This makes you feel like staying in an actual home. And what a home! Great job on the renovation of such a charming building. Room is comfortable and well equipped. Lovely swimming pool. Will definitely come back.
16 Theatre Residence

images
Tranquillity place, fully accomdations suit. Easily to take ferry across Chao Praya river via both Tha Wat Rakang and Tha Wang Lang. Full load of street foods around.
17 Villa Phra Sumen

images
Such a lovely place to stay while in Bangkok. Gives a real break from the city noise and craziness. The rooms are nicely decorated and the building has a nice design. The garden is peaceful and beautiful, the staff friendly and the pool is the cherry on top. Great for couples or families.
18 Dinso Home Boutique Hotel

I give it 4 stars for its sense of hospitality as much as for the quality of amenities and service.
This is my 'go to' accommodation in Bangkok.
The restaurant serves delicious food, location cannot be beaten, it's generally quiet apart from the thin-walled small single rooms which can suffer from TV and snoring noise....These rooms are still pleasant however and is a mark of the success of this boutique style hostel/hotel.
Female and male only rooms are on separate floors, with a double room available on each. Top floor has larger rooms with great views.
Shared bathrooms are nicely designed and frequently empty so it feels like a private bathroom at times.
Baggage storage available. I really enjoy staying here as a working traveller. Public lounge areas are lovely allowing a pleasant working space. Add to that, a large, beautifully-presented breakfast (not 'free' by the way as described on main page) and you'll enjoy your start to the day.
19 Rosewood Bangkok

images
It's like an ultra luxury hotel. The room was clean and fully furnished. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious in Europe and Thai style, especially the croissants are good smell and crispy. The swimming pool is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. If you're looking for a great hotel, don't miss out on this one.
20 The Siam Hotel

images
What a beautiful oasis just a stone's throw from the centre of Bangkok. Nick and the team do a fabulous job of taking care of their guests. The owner's collection of antiques seem to fill every space and could form a museum themselves. A beautiful space to spend the afternoon or, ideally, the night.
I do my best to keep this list as up-to-date as possible. I last updated it in February 2025. If you know of a hipster hotel that should be on the list, let me know. Click here to contact me. Thanks!
