Good place in Bangalore City and it's clean and a premier location in Bangalore . Here food is good and staff are cooperative to people.
I really expected to have a pleasant stay at The Chevron Hotel, Bengaluru, but to my disappointment, we had a lot of problems at the Hotel.
To list the problems were
1. No water even for toilet
2. TV doesn't work, says it
is faulty.
3. Intercom/Phone doesn't
work, hence couldn't call
the service boy.
4. Toilet seat not fitted
properly.
5. WiFi not available
6. Fridge not working
7. Water leakage from the
AC duct.
I have paid the amount in full and I being a senior citizen had to undergo all the above problems with my family.
It's a big zero. Advise, People don't book rooms in this hotel. The hotel is being shutdown. No receptionist, no housekeeping, no hot water, no room service, no restaurant, no security, not even intercom works. Actually this hotel with 40 or more rooms runs with 3 staff. Don't fall for any reviews or offers from online portals. This is the current scenario of this hotel as of 4th Feb 2020.
Rooms are ok, but you don't get breakfast if it gets over at 9.00 am as they don't cook again. You don't get bathroom slippers as they don't have . When you order food in room the person will ask for money immediately as he delivers the food. I personally feel it's better to give 200 more for going to a better hotel . Above all it's a vegetarian hotel. I would suggest to avoid this hotel . You get small medimix soap there was no shampoo and I didn't ask for also.
The hotel is under closure, then why should they accept bookings? My friend had booked the room for himself. The lift was not working. The geyser in the bathroom wasn't working. You had to order for a bucket of hot water to have bath and wait, while they go about doing their regular chores!
