Great location, staff, clean hotel and amazing spot. I would just recommend more things to do such as pool, billiards, ping pong and fun games to pass the time. Definitely coming back!!!
First the pros. Definitely enjoy having non Georgian dining options in bakuriani. The restaurant is wonderful. Great cocktails too.
Now the cons can be summed up as form over function. I consider myself to be a fairly upstanding citizen but I’ve run afoul of the rules three times here.
1) Where the W hotel chain encourages social lounge areas, here a game of chess is against the rules.
2) Petite menu. I interpret that to mean snacks or tapas. Here it means kids and you’re forbidden from ordering from it. Unless you borrow someone’s child to get delicious Mac and cheese. I had to go home to get my five year old to score this forbidden pasta.
3) so tempting that there’s a decent restaurant on kokhta. Where it falls short is ski boots are forbidden. I could understand this if it were a separate upscale dining area but this is literally ground floor restaurant adjacent to the lift. So the proposed work around was to go around the building to an unmarked door which is the ski depot. Here a waiter was going to bring slippers but never came.
Perhaps someone enjoys making inconvenient rules to test people. Just be prepared for such events as theres an atmosphere they’re trying to protect.
Excellent and absolutely amazing staff!!! Very clean and tidy object and super good breakfast in a morning. The view from the window is also awsome. The place where hotel is located is very very quite.
IT is a wonderful hotel! rooms are very nice and well designed, food is very good (a bit expensive compering to food price in georgia), service is also very good. And right next to hotel there is a cable car, so in winter you do not have to drive to get up to the mountain to ski.
